Chon-Aksuu is a real Kyrgyz name. Its length is 35 km. The Chon-Ak-Suu Gorge is considered one of the most picturesque in the northern part of the Issyk-Kul region. Descends from the ridge Kungoi Ala-Too to the village Grigorievka. In the middle part of the gorge are two snow peaks: Kum-Bel (4,200 m) and Eshenbulak (4,647 m). In the belt of eternal snows is Ak-Suu pass (4012 m). It leads to the upper reaches of the Chon-Kemin river and to the Jassyl-Kel lake.

The main glaciation knot of the ridge is located in this area. Most of the glaciers are located in the basin of the Chon-Ak-Suu River. It is around 52 glaciers with a total area of 65.6 km²). There are three high moraine lakes in the Grigorevka gorge. In the first part of the valley, in the upper half of the valley, and also, in the tract of At-Zhailoo.
