Ai-Köl a mountain lake

Ai-Köl, a mountain lake in Batken Province (translated from Kyrgyz as “moon lake”). It is located on the northern slope of the Turkestan ridge at an altitude of 2,937 m. The area of the mirror is 1.0 km², the volume of water is 0.057 km³.
The lake is a reservoir of rubble origin. The water level rises in summer and falls in winter. From October to March it is covered with ice.
The shores of the lake are steep cliffs, which can not be approached, which makes the approaches to the lake quite difficult
